Description
This is a fine original U.S. pressing copy of a 1988 double live LP by the U2. The record has been lambasted by many as bloated and pretentious, and the fact that they included a cover of Jimi Hendrix's epochal solo version of "The Star Spangled Banner" lends some credence to that view even at just 43 seconds long. It does have its moments, however, notably in the singles drawn from it. The gatefold jacket has one notable flaw, some rippling in the front cover (but no visible staining). Otherwise, it's in fine condition with some light ring wear and scuffing, some wear on the bottom seam, and some light wear elsewhere around the edges (VG+). The discs are clean with a little light scuffing, and they play with occasional light surface noise (EX+). The record comes with cardboard custom inner sleeves (EX(+): one has light rippling on one side, otherwise close to pristine).
I’m helping a friend sell his personal collection. I have play graded (spot checked) discs. The jackets will be shipped in plastic sleeves with the discs removed from them.
If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
