U2 - RATTLE & HUM / ISLAND-WEL S.A. / 1988

Up for sale VERY RARE Uruguayan test pressing of the Rattle & Hum double lp. The couple comes housed in a special promotional jacket from Wel S.A. owner of Island publication rights in Uruguay during that period. The present copy was found at an old local radio station (pretty untidy) warehouse, and as a matter of fact only Disc 1 was found inside the promotional jacket, while Disc 2 was found in a white plain sleeve in a different container. It includes label info sheet with a brief description of the album.

Jacket is VG+, it shows almost erased writings on front & back (radio station name), light damp stain by the rim, mild years yellowing, track listing taped on back and shelving code sticker on bottom portion, looks fine.

Disc 1 is VG++ with some lite thin hairlines & sleeve scuffs on a glossy surface, Disc 2 is VG+ with a higher amount of cosmetic thin hairlines & scuffs, they both play fine all through with some background surface noise. Both labels show handwritten name of album and artist, shelving code sticker on Disc 1 A side and Disc 2 B side.

Label sheet is in very good condition and it comes folded in four.
