Description

<<<35th Anniversary - in a few months>>
An original 1st press of R&H for the UK market in 1988. "Trumpet" - etching. The vinyl comes housed in an original '88 gatefold. We also have the bespoke inners too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In super condition having seen only light careful use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. A real sweet player into those slow build passages that U2 are famed for. Very little to take issue with. At worst a few cackles in one brief spot per side [e.g. All I Want Is you Intro]. Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex) In lovely condition - many original copies will be not looking this tidy. Nice clean surfaces without much sign of surface wear - which preserves the original aesthetic. The interior looks superb. Minimal edge wear and sharp firm openings. Spine 100% intact - superb and square [no compression] Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+/Ex-) No splits. Just a bit of light ageing to one of the inners.
