U2 (7-inch vinyl single) Side A: Another Day (3:24) Side B: Twilight (4:35) CBS Records, Ireland, CBS 8306 Back sleeve:
"Another Day" was produced by Chas de Whalley and U2 at CBS London, December 1979. "We went on the boat".
"Twilight" wasn't produced and took 15 minutes in Eamonn Andrews 4 track, Dublin, February 79. "That day we went on the bus to see Dave Freely the engineer."

It was initially released only on black vinyl, but was later re-released on coloured vinyl and again on black vinyl as part of the first singles pack in 1982-83. "Another Day" was not included on the Boy album and the b-side "Twilight," is an early demo version, not the finished version which later appeared on the album. Some of the initial pressings of this single came with a postcard featuring a picture of the band on one side and artwork from Bono on the backside.
In 1982-83 CBS re-released the single in a singles pack. These repressings came either on black vinyl or one of several colored vinyls, yellow, orange, white, or brown. The pressings of the coloured vinyl and the earliest pressings on black vinyl came with black print on a red CBS label. For auction here is one of those earliest pressings, which I've personally owned and protected since its release.
