Description
Selected Sound 117: Patchwork Party, featuring Patchwork, Mike Moore Company, and Cosmic Angel. Cover has light shelf wear and a very small chip on top. Vinyl plays NM- (one track on s2 is EX with a little light noise). Super hard to find and and in demand library on excellent German label Selected Sound, produced by Mike Moore. Includes some heavy heavy funk cuts, between electro and cosmic. Includes the monster cosmic dancefloor cut "Soul City" with heavy heavy bass and voices chorus à la Janko Nilovic. I also love the weirdo proto hip-hop samples of "Flamingo Walk". The intro sounds like a Madlib cut! Check the dreamy cosmic "Jacaranda" ... Some funny cheesy sample for wide-open ears!
Selected Sound 68: Unbekannte Welt / Unknown World / Monde Inconnu, featuring Orchestra Gerhard Trede. "A new kind of electronic rhythmbase with the overlaying melody serie from guitar, synthesizer, pan flute, organ, and percussion. This many-sided usable music is made for being swept up, down, and along with scientific, adventurous, and technical reports. It fits the specific path of the satellites, enormes ants (sic), cancer research, bird beings, expeditions, exotic landscape pictures, meditation, environment anxieties, labor, construction, and architectur." Whatever that means. ;) Cover has very light wear and a small stain on front. Vinyl plays VG+ to EX. There are a few flecks in the grooves - they didn't cause me any trouble, but if they do, you can plow through them a few times.
LPs have been lovingly cleaned and placed in brand-new poly sleeves.
