SAJ Records 10, recorded October and November, 1976. A split program, with one solo side played by each of these improvisers; FMP subsidiary. Disc is new and unplayed. Spine is roughed up in four small places; otherwise only minor contact wear. Label is the FMP total blank style, a white disc on which machine stamped “10” gives the catalog number on one side, and Sides one and 2 have been differentiated in blue ballpoint. Likewise cover has a small diagonal corner cut to show promo. This is one of over 200 LPs being consigned on auction weekly between now and Spring 2007 from the well-kept and thorough collection of the late sculptor Bradford Graves, a key participant in the operations of New York performance space Soundscape. The collection ranges from Art Blakey to Han Bennink, with especially strong showings of Saturn, FMP, ICP, and US private pressings from the early Seventies. Some prizes and surprises in every batch.
