Description

Traffic - Last Exit - Island LP ILPS9097 1st Pressing 1969 Exc+ cond.

Matrix numbers  Side 1 ILPS-9097-A    Side 2  ILPS-9097-B

An excellent album by Steve Winwood's groundbreaking band. This was intended to be their swan song and that is symbolised in the broken Island log on the back cover. Side 1 are studio tracks and include former 'B' sides from singles and other rare tracks. Side 2 is live at Fillmore West and contains the masterpiece Blind Man. This is a rarity of excellent quality. A must for any Traffic/Winwood or Mason fan.

Vinyl: Heavyweight at 165 grams. Bothe sides are VG+ and have a high gloss. Side 1 has a barely visible hairline mark that doesn't affect play.

Labels: Island Red Eye labels with some texture. Both sides have two short names printed small and neat but otherwise are exceelnt with only very light spindle marking.

Dustcover: original plain white plastic lined with some yellowing to liner adhesive due to age.

Cover: This is a soft card matt gatefold (see photo). Front has a small curved indent which is hardly visible face on. Back has disc rim pressure mark at top edge. There is storage rub war to seams and spine which would be unavoidable given the softness of the card. On the back there is a small area bottom left where a name and address have been removed.

Tracks: Just for you, Shanghai noodle factory, Somethings got a hold of my toe, Withering tree, Medicated goo, Feelin' good, Blind man.

I am not a dealer. I am a private seller gradually disposing of my vinyl collection.  Please note that, whilst it is rare for items to be lost or damaged in the post I am unable to accept responsibility for any loss or damage by the postal services. Whilst I am happy to provide help, advice and proof of postage, all such claims remain the responsibility of the buyer. All items sold for more than £39 will be subject to an extra charge for 'signed for' posting (This is not usually very expensive) if buyer requires package to be covered for compensation to cover the, unlikely, loss in the post an extra charge will have to be added. If compensation cover is required buyers should contact me so that the full cost can be invoiced.
