Description

This is an extremely rare import pressing of Tool - Lateralus on black vinyl. Released in 2009, this is the only black vinyl version of Lateralus, with the original picture disc pressing (the only official version of the album) being universally criticized for its subpar sound quality and excessive surface noise. This version is likely sourced from the CD mix of the album and comes in a single jacket with the original Alex Grey art printed on the record labels, each side corresponding to the cut-away anatomical layers that were used in the CD booklet and picture disc. At the moment, this is the only copy of this version available anywhere on the Internet. Own this rare piece of Tool history on standard black vinyl.
