Up for grabs is a rare single by Tommy Ridgley (misspelled on label as Ridgely).  The record is overall graded VG. But I like to grade conservatively. "Sometimes You Get It" has a surface noise at the start of track but clears up quickly. Has a hint of wear periodically, mostly in the background of track. This track I would feel comfortable grading VG+. "What A Mess We're In" has some light surface noise constant through the whole song. This is probably most closely graded VG. Vinyl itself looks clean with some wear (paper scuffs, light marks, etc). Perhaps a cleaning will get out some of the gunk that sounds like it's in the grooves. Labels have noticeable wear and discoloration. There's a pressing flaw present with a little bubble on the vinyl that creates 3-4 noticeable 'thump' sounds. It's not awfully distracting, but audible. Present mostly on "Sometimes". A very good copy of this obscure NOLA soul record.

Unless otherwise noted, records are original pressings, not reissues or bootlegs. I have played many of these records personally and taken the time give accurate grading. I played them on an Audio Technica AT-LP120. If you have better equipment, most of these will probably sound better than they did for me. What you are bidding on is an actual portrayal of what you will receive. I do my best to describe everything I sell in accurate and honest detail. If the items are listed as new, they are new. Also note that international orders sent First Class International DO NOT include tracking. Full tracking is available for additional charge of $15 per package and is at buyer’s discretion to ask for this service. Packages over $75 MUST be sent with insurance in the USA and sent via registered mail internationally, at buyer's expense. LP’s will be shipped in a sturdy vinyl mailer outside of the cover in an inner-sleeve (unless sealed) between one or two pieces of cardboard (depending on the number of LP’s in the mailer). 7” or 45’s are shipped between two pieces of cardboard with bubble wrap around it in a manila envelop, unless it's over a substantial amount, then I'll find a proper 45 mailer for it.
