VG+
Note:
I only rate VG+ and VG. I never rate higher than VG+ because I’m not sure how to distinguish between M/NM/EX. If it looks new, has no surface noise, skips, or repeats, I rate VG+, If it’s 20 years old or older, I almost always rate it VG if it has no surface noise or only very slight surface noise at low volume with no skips or repeats. If it’s old but exceptionally clean, then I’ll probably rate it VG+ so that people know it’s better than most copies its age. If you really want to know if it’s M/NM/EX it’s better to just ask me about it, explaining what M/NM/EX means to you, and I’ll try to describe it as best I can. I’d hate to grade something NM and have a customer say it’s only EX. If surface noise is noticeable like G or G+ records or if it skips or repeats I put it in a box to donate or give away locally.
Records are wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in cardboard. Media Mail marked “Fragile” by the Post Office.
