Description

Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.

This is an auction for: Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers – Greatest hits – RARE Double Vinyl LP album from 1993.

This album was released by MCA records.

This album is really hard to find on vinyl and is a must have for any collector of Tom Petty.

Vinyl Condition: EX (There are some light sleeve marks and the odd very faint hairline but these don’t affect the playback. The records play great and with lovely clear sound quality. The centre labels have some slight grubby marks but this is nothing major).

Inner Sleeve Condition: VG (Plain white inner sleeves have some yellow age spots and the odd grubby mark but are ok).

Outer Sleeve Condition: VG (Outer gatefold sleeve has some noticeable wear/scuffing to the corners, more so on the top left. There are also a few nicks and scuffs to the spine. There is some general edge wear and the odd nick in places. The faces have a few scratches and scrapes and there is a small area on the front where someone has used the sleeve to lean on when writing a number. The top edge has a slight split but nothing major. There is some slight ringwear too but generally the sleeve is ok and is in nice condition for its age. I am probably being fussy but I believe in being thorough).

I grade my vinyl’s as follows:

M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.

Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.

VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.

G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.

If you would like further information on sleeve or record condition then please email me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Please note: Due to the large amount of CD’s and records that I am selling, I don’t have time to include the track listings. If the track listing is important to you then please email me and I will send you the track list.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR POSTAGE ADDRESS IS UP TO DATE AND CORRECT BEFORE BIDDING.

Cheers and happy bidding.
