DESCRIPTION:  Toad- Classic self titled first LP.  Swiss 1st pressing with gatefold sleeve.  This is a great record, not the prettiest copy but the music is top notch and hard as nails. More interesting Progressive/ Kraut/ Kosmische coming soon. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER:  Hallelujah X616. YEAR OF RELEASE: 1971. COUNTRY OF RELEASE: Switzerland :  CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): F+ (Please read on)/VG. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen and a lot of hairlines, brushing lines and some thin scratches, none are feelable though a couple look like they should be. Basically the disc looks like it has been heavily played, not looked after and not kept in an inner sleeve. Played all of this a couple of times over the last week on my budget deck. Sits flat on turntable. Side 1 plays VG and better. Music is pretty much  loud and clear. Side 2 has a split second skip on track one and quite a few ticks and some clicks on the first 2 tracks .  Cover is in decent shape and is an acceptable VG. Original price sticker to front of sleeve. It has moderate edge wear, moderate corner wear and not much more than light creasing.  There are 2 small sticker removal marks to front of sleeve, one is tiny, the other a little longer and has been shaded in. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE.
