Description

Tina Brooks, "True Blue", Mono. Blue Note BLP 4041 (1960)Featuring:  Freddie Hubbard - trumpet, Tina Brooks - tenor sax, Duke Jordan - piano, Sam Jones - bass, Art Taylor - drums. 
COVER:   VG    Shelf wear.  Tape residue on front and back.  Solid, no splits.  Spine legible.   Small tear on open end center.  Small paper loss on bottom seam at center.  Ink signature on back.     43 West 61st St., New York 23 address on back cover. 
RECORD: VG / VG-   Many hairlines, light marks, sleeve marks.  Strong fidelity and volume.  Plays excellent with consistent minor background crackle, tics.    Original 1960.  Very clean labels.  RVG & Plastylite "P" / "Ear"  etched in dead wax.  Deep Groove both sides.  47 West 63rd NYC address.    Very nice, strong playing example of this scarcely offered Blue Note title.

NM               Appears unplayed. No marks, scratches or imperfections. We rarely use this. 

VG++           May have low number (1-2) of minor imperfections that don't affect play. Examples: sleeve scuffs or superficial mark/scratch.

VG+             Has a few visible imperfections. Examples:  sleeve scuffs, light scratches or other smudge / marks. 

VG                More imperfections than a VG+, but nothing that will overpower music when played. 

VG-              Several visible imperfections and/or feelable marks. Expect audible surface noise to be present. 

G                  Multiple imperfections, may affect play.
