Thorens TD166 Mk V Turntable
This is my own treasured Thorens which I have had since I bought it new and am now reluctantly selling as I have to downsize. No room for my vinyl collection of 45 years so no need for my deck!
It has been well looked after and no-one has been allowed to touch it but me. Everything on it is original including the drive belt and it works just the same as the day I bought it.
It is in really good condition, obviously after all these years there are signs of use but no signs of abuse, the lid does have marks on it but most of these can be removed using Brasso
The cartridge fitted is a Goldring 'Elan' I have tried a few cartridges over the years but this one sounded so good I have felt no need to upgrade any further.
I have only ever used the 33 speed.
It also comes with the original user manual (which as you can see in the picture has my writing on the front, I can't imagine why I did that, you'll just have to hope I become famous one day!).
I will be including some accessories including a dust bug type of record cleaning arm, a cleaning brush, an old Goldring cartridge (1022) and an old tone arm balancing gadget.
I will pack it as well as I possibly can but you are welcome to pick it up if you want (S36 area).
Postage is £20.00 and will be Hermes signed for.
