Description

This is the original deep-groove pressing of Thelonius Monk Misterioso on the small (3 ½") blue and silver reel-logo labels of Riverside RLP 12-279. The playing surface is flawless; perhaps played once or twice. The laminated cover is in superb condition, with light shelf wear on the back slick. Personnel includes Johnny Griffin, Ahmed Abdul Malik, and Roy Haynes.
