Description
Original deep-groove "ear" pressing of Thelonius Monk Genius of Modern Music, Volume 2 on the Lexington Avenue labels of Blue Note BLP 1511. There is no registration symbol on either label. The flat-rim playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once or twice. The gakabuchi cover has the Lexington Avenue address and is bright and clean throughout: slight rubbing at the bottom of the front cover and to the bottom seam; 1/4" chip at center of right edge to back slick.
Personnel includes Kenny Dorham, Lucky Thompson, and Max Roach.
