Description

This is the original deep-groove RVG-etched “P”-pressing of Thelonious Monk “Genius of Modern Music, Volume 2” on the Lexington Avenue labels of blue Note BLP 1511.  The flat rim playing surface is MINT, with an extraordinary luster; perhaps played once.  The coated frame Lexington Avenue cover is also in extraordinary condition – clean and bright throughout – with just ½” wear on the bottom seam, at the opening; store stamp on the bottom right corner of the back slick.  Personnel include Idrees Sulieman, Lucky Thompson, Milt Jackson, Al McKibbon, and Max Roach. $500.00
