Here it is- the rumoured Paul Giovanni album from 1970! Paul Giovanni is famous for the haunting music written for the classic folk horror film The Wicker Man that featured landmark performances by Christopher Lee and Edward Woodward. He is the singer on Gentle Johnny and is seen in the crowds humming at the end of the film's climax on that cliff edge.
It was rumoured he did record another album  a few years previous to his Wicker Man soundtrack but no one ever saw a copy - until now.
It is called 'Side Show' and features the following tracks:- (7  of these songs are either written or co written by Paul)

Paul  plays 12 string guitar and rhythm guitar on this album and  features Cissy Houston on 'High E' Ken Zeserson Lead Guitar, sax,vocals Gregg Kreutz Bass,harmonica,vocals and lead on Rooster Ken Bischel Keyboards, Moog,trumpet,melodica,vocals Produced and Conducted by Arif Mardin Atlantic Records SD 8261 Pressed in 1970 USA
The record looks near mint or maybe unplayed with White Sample Copy Atlantic Labels It comes with a near mint two page lyric inner with  unique rare pictuires of Paul Giovanni in the studio! Original Atlantic stock inner with other lps advertised in full colour- minor split on one side The  stiff pasted cover is EX but unglued at top due to age. This has been left for the buyer to decide whether to reglue or leave as is. It is stickered with 'Promotional Copy Not For Sale' on the front  Has many handwritten matrix info on run outs and may exist only as a  handful of sample pressings.
