Description

The Yardbirds Having A Rave Up-First Pressing 1965, Epic Records, Yellow Label. Mono. LN 24177. This is the second American album by the English group, The Yardbirds. Released in November, 1965 just eight months after Jeff Beck replaced Eric Clapton on guitar. The album includes tracks by both guitarists, reflects the band's Blues-Rock roots and early experimentation in psychedelic-rock. Rave Up refers to the band's musical arrangements. Pressed at a plant in Terre Haute, Indiana. This edition credits the song, I'm A Man, to the writers Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman, when the song was actually written by Bo Diddley.  The front cover shows very light ringwear with an approximate 1/16 split at the top, but is still a rich vibrant white. The rear cover shows extremely light staining and two small black marks. The Cover rates as VG plus to Near Mint. Otherwise I would rate it higher. There is no writing on the cover. The Record labels on both sides are in mint like conditions. The Record itself is in Mint Condition and is enclosed in a MoFi protective sleeve. This is a rare and excellent, collectible copy from my personal collection.
