THE LAST TIME/UNDER MY THUMB (7”)
(POLYDOR 59113) (RELEASED 1967)
Unique and scarce Norwegian Picture Sleeve, with an advertising blurb for a Denon Portable Record Player on the reverse.
Outstanding two-sider, covering a pair of Stones toons in support of the release of Mick Jagger and Keith Richards after the Redlands Raids of 1967. Fortunately, Mick n Keef were soon back in the studio recording ‘Satanic Majesties’!
The Who’s trademark sound of ‘66/’67 (ie Mod/Beat) is very much apparent in both these songs, and their interpretation of two of the Stones’ much loved songs, are first class!

Cover = VG- (Paper sleeve fold-out cover in OK condition. Top of cover is taped, back cover has slight tears on top. Creasing evident top right front cover. Sleeve split at bottom.
Record = VG+ (Extremely loud pressing. Slight markings, hairlines, plays close to EX)
Polydor labels in Excellent condition. Three pronged centre intact.
