Description

An original 1969 One Emi Box copy of Revolver on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix 1/1. This 1969 pressing is nice and solid and exhibits every bit of the audio quality of the earlier copies. In fact, I might go as far to say this is one of the best renditions of Revolver I've ever witnessed - a high accolade indeed! The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover with flipbacks exposed. Also included is the original sepia toned advertising inner sleeve. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine. For those into this type of thing....there is a track title error on the side 2 label "I got to get you into my life'. There shouldn't be an 'I'.
Vinyl (Ex+) Wowzers..wowzers...this really is time-machine piece and has seen only the very lightest use. Under close inspection we are struggling to make out a single mark. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT+ level of playback. I can honestly say I've never heard a rendition quite this good - be it one-box or two-box or the original Yellow Parlo copies. The audio is absolutely perfect - just perfect clarity and reproduction like you're sat right in the studio. All those percussion/transient sounds...the ones that are the most difficult to replicate - they sound astonishingly clear and realistic. Absolutely top-draw copy which could not be beaten. Interference is non-existent. We detected nothing more than a couple of crackles the whole way through. FINAL UPGRADE - no sweat.
Cover (Ex) One of THE most unaged Beatle covers I've ever witnessed. There's 'nice and white' and then there's the 'purest white'. This baby has clearly never seen daylight for more than a few minutes. Would get a higher grade, but for the fact there is a slight wave to the cover - nothing drastic. Possibly has come into contact with damp at some point - but then there are no signs of damage or deterioration. Not sure either way - might possibly have occurred on the print rollers at the point of manufacture...difficult to say! What I can tell you is that it is ridiculously well preserved. The rear is absolutely faultless and that is a very difficult find indeed. Just take a look at some of the pics - they are nothing short of astonishing. Flipbacks are all perfectly secure and completely without evidence of wear. Edge wear is non-existent and the openings are still sharp. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains perfect rigidity and is one hell of a specimen.
Inner (Ex+) Lovely condition. No splits or markings or creases.

Any purchase is guaranteed to get to you quickly, safely, and with total satisfaction, or your money back.
