THE WHO - Substitute/Instant Party               Reaction 591001                                Plain sleeve - no other supplied     Condition: NM Extremely rare in this condition - the Sixties best band by far, and the volume must be turned all the way up so banish the wife to the kitchen and enjoy! The vinyl is spotless - the is only a black mark on the A side label to spoil it and you don't play the label. I have rarely seen a better copy. "Instant Party", in case you did not know, is the original track "Circles", booked for this spot, but changed by Reaction in view of the other named track appearing on the Brunswick label. It fooled no-body of course but the controversy has gone on ever since, and the real reason why is still not known!

WHO AM I?
HonestDave'sRecords has been successfully selling 1950's and 1960's singles and LP's at record fairs for nearly 40 years and on Ebay for 7 years. In fact I handle anything between 1955 and 1972, from any number of fields including: Pop, Beat, Soul, Northern Soul, Tamla Motown, Reggae, Instrumentals, Solo Girls and Boys and Girl Groups. At the moment I am undertaking a major stock check so, although I have tried, I cannot send out lists. I underestimated the time it would (will) take to complete the job. If you have a specific requirement, you will find in this section, the means to get hold of me. If I have it, I will load it for you. At any one time I will have between five and eight thousand (5,000-8,000) singles and EP's and about a hundred (100) of so of the best LP's (too heavy for any more - my car objects to what it has to carry now!). Prices range from clearance items at £1.50 - £1.95, through huge numbers in the range £2.25 - £9.95, and hundreds of even rarer items in the pop, instrumental, beat, girl groups and soloists, straight soul and northern soul from £11.95 to £500.00 slices of Oriole. Most will be UK issues although a few will be American and will say so; most will have the original or an exact replica of the company sleeve it was issued in. Spares of these are available (most types) at 40p each post free. Almost all will have the original centre intact - a very few desirable ones may be sold with the centre punched out.
My lowest sales category is Very Good although only a few will actually be found listed as low as that. I try to ensure that all items should be in Very Good Plus, Excellent or Near Mint condition as defined by Record Collector Price Guides. I never use the condition Mint as it cannot be proved to my satisfaction. However, there is always the odd one that slips through the net when you deal in the numbers I do, and don't forget that even in 1965, duff copies came off the production line and these could still be out there. 
If you should find any of my records are not as described, don't rush to leave negative feedback or poor marks on my seller ratings - I hate this system and it achieves nothing, despite what Ebay may think.
