You are bidding on a vinyl LP from my old collection. The LP is:

Notes:

I have a friend who has been back into the vinyl audiophile scene for a couple of years now. He was down to visit at the end of September and grabbed a few goodies that he wanted, then left a lot of other stuff because he calculated there would be more coin through eBay than he wanted to part with. He tells me that everything he browsed through is either 'Near Mint' or 'Mint' by the standards he's seen these days. He also said that I should 'Play Grade' (is that right?) each one before I put it up for auction.

Riiiight.

I'm (a) buried in Real Life, (b) not that finicky, and (c) not shooting for utter perfection as I clean out the old stuff in the house. So I'm going to say the following about each LP I put up:

I will give all of them a general rank of Very Good Plus to Near Mint for vinyl and jacket.
If an item is of lesser or greater quality for some reason I will mention it in the Notes above.
Everything in the collection played with no skips or issues when it last hit my turntable 20 years ago.
All of the LPs have been stored vertically in a clean environment with no direct heat or sunlight since I acquired them.
All of the LPs have been stored with a plastic outer cover, and where applicable the simple paper inner sleeve has been replaced with anti-static plastic.

Some Other Details

With a small handful of exceptions, all of these LPs are going on auction with no reserve. I will keep at least ten to twenty discs up at a time, and anyone winning multiple discs will get combined shipping to keep those costs down. I have bought heavy duty 1-12 disc boxes, and will pad small shipments with appropriate filler.

The Fun Part

Now, here's the Fun Part. I want this stuff gone from the house. It's the symbolic equivalent of Reginald Perrin shedding his clothing and swimming into the sea. Each disc is going to go through a maximum of one auction cycle and one re-list if necessary. At that point it is going to be placed into a special pile, and when I've gone through the entire collection in this manner anything in the special pile will be taken to the back yard, soaked with charcoal fluid, and pictures of the bonfire (can't say F-451 because it will be vinyl and not books) will be placed on the family web site.
