Description

Artist: The War on Drugs Title: Slave Ambient Label: Secretly Candian Pressing: First Pressing from 2011, 2 x 12" Records pressed at 45 RPM Sleeve: Still in shrink with stickers, some slight shelf wear Vinyl: Some scuffs, but still plays great, didn't notice the marks affecting play or sound.
Great 45 RPM pressing of The War on Drugs's excellent second album. Feels like more of an influence from Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen than their later stuff (though maybe they kinda went Born in the USA Springsteen on Lost in the Dream or a Deeper Understanding?). Anyway, excellent album and interesting mix of straight up rock jams with guitar and ambient experimentation.
