The Sun Also Rises - The Sun Also Rises (1970)
The Sun Also Rises were an acid folk duo from Cardiff. More specifically they were husband and wife team
Graham and Anne Hemingway. Their name was taken from the Ernest Hemingway novel.
It wastes no time in proving itself with its kooky hippie lyrics and wide array of instruments - from dulcimer and glockenspiel to bells and a kazoo - the result is reminiscent of outfits like the Incredible String Band and Dr Strangely Strange.
All in all a very beautiful and pastoral duet, melancholic short songs in two voices.
This 1970 folk album on The Village Thing label VTS 2 woth the matrix VTS 2A -1 T on side 01 and VTS 2B -1 T on side 02 is in excellent condition. Save for some "hairlike" marks which are not feelable nor audible
The cover is slightly less than excellent and the spine is not as firm as it should be but is 100% readable. The inner lyric sheet is also in excellent condition

I am not a vinyl dealer I am a collector and many of my LPs were bought by myself from new.
EXCELLENT:
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very good (cover falls between the 2 gradings)
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items,without any major defects, is acceptable.
