The Stone Roses – The Stone Roses - Silvertone ORELP502

Classic 1989 album from the ‘Madchester’ band. This is an early repressing so does not have the embossed cover. I have owned the album from new and it is in excellent condition overall.

CONDITION

I use the RC grading categories and have play graded the vinyl on a Linn LP12. I have been using high end turntables for over 30 years.

Sleeve: Excellent

The LP has been stored in a polythene outer sleeve from new. It has the original inner sleeve with a John Squire painting on one side and band photos on the other. The cover and inner have no tears, splits, creases or stains. There is no corner wear and minimal signs of edge wear. There is no writing on sleeve or labels.

Vinyl: VG+

The record has had little play and looks as new. There are minimal spindle marks on the labels and no visible scratches on the disc. There are no sticks, jumps or warps. There are a couple of clicks on the run in groove on side 1 and several light clicks during the first two tracks of side 2.

POSTAGE AND PACKAGING

The record will be packed in a record mailer with stiffener and posted 2nd class. I remove all records from outer and printed inner sleeves before packing to avoid damage to covers during transit. All vinyl is dispatched in polythene sleeves.

This rare record is one of several albums I am selling from the 1980s and 90s from my personal collection (see my other listings). I am not a dealer but have been buying records for over 40 years and have decided to begin ‘downsizing’ my collection. I will be listing many more records over the coming months, dating from the 1960s to the present day.
