Up for grabs is this UK original vinyl 7" single, in a plain sleeve, by The Soul Provriders. Entitled All, the B-side is Lonely Separation. This extremely hard to find private pressing is the only release by this Berkshire band. It was recorded in Maidenhead and released for Reading Rag Week 1965, raising money for children's charities. The vocalist was Chris Heyworth and other band members included Pete Gerard and Nick Mobbs (no idea if this is the same person as the EMI / Harvest Nick Mobbs). Both tracks have a writing credit of Meld. The A-side is a raw mod / R&B track in the style of early Kinks / Who recordings while the B-side is a slower more bluesy number. The A-side appeared on the compilation LP, Purple Heart Surgery Volume 2. On the private Concord label, the catalogue number is CON-STD 74 (this doesn't appear on the labels but is stamped in the run-out grooves) and the date of issue is 1965.

Condition

The vinyl is in Very Good Minus condition. Both sides have a few marks but play through very well with absolutely no jumps or sticks.

The labels are in Very Good Plus condition, clean and bright with clear, perfect printing and just a few spindle marks. 

All my vinyl records are strictly graded according to Record Collector magazine's grading system. Please check my GRADING GUIDE to see a description of each grade. If any item has any writing, stickers, sticker marks, tears etc these will always be mentioned along with the grading. All records are sent in custom-made mailers, with stiffeners, and are packaged outside their sleeves to prevent edge splits. For singles without a picture sleeve, they will either have a plain sleeve or a correct-era original (not repro) record company sleeve (stated above). Original record company sleeves may not be the exact sleeve issued with the single so may have a different catalogue number hand-written in the corner but they will be the correct design for the single. They may have a bit of wear, writing, stickers, sticker marks etc but will be in a generally good, useable condition without edge splits or sellotape.

Please do not send international money orders in any foreign currencies as I cannot cash them due to the excessive exchange costs at this end.

I send all my items with adequate and secure packaging and post within 2 working days of receipt of payment (unless funds need to clear, in which case they will be posted on clearance). If you select the Get-It-Fast option, postage will be within 1 working day of receipt of payment. I offer Recorded, Special Delivery and International Signed For options on postage.
