Description
Here we have a very special item indeed, fair to call it the holy grail of smiths collecting. First one ever to be sold on eBay. I recently acquired this from a collector in Hong Kong whom bought it back in the day, at the time of release, and yes, it really is as rare as we expected, pressed in minuscule numbers. Record looks barely played tho some light surface marks are present, likely from the stamper.
The outer sleeve is made up of two slabs of thick card with a wrap around slick of the artwork glued on, The Smiths in Orange red text appears at the top right, the labels are blue with black text, akin to the German RTD25. Inner lyric sheet has handwritten notes, presumably from the original owner. A rare item in the truest sense, one which most collectors hope to own rather than expecting to ever find. If you’re going to lump your money on any one Smiths item this year, make it this one!
