The Rolling Stones Welcome To New York in true stereo
This from a Stones album collectors website: "Madison Square Garden, NYC 7/26/72
Mick Jagger's 29th birthday was also the last concert of the '72 tour. Legend
has it this stereo soundboard recording was stolen from the mixing desk by 2 fans. Best source
is old vinyl with 'RS 546 REI' written in the dead wax. Good luck finding a
copy!"
The album up for auction here has the 'RS 546 REI' etched in the trail off of the vinyl and the sound is awesome indeed. True stereo with separation. The Stones give a great performance here from the summer of 1972 Exile On Main Street tour. This is the Stones when they mattered.

Vinyl rates very good - very good plus with some the slightest crackles and noise here and there

MINT- (M-): A RECORD THAT LOOKS LIKE IT IS ALMOST MINT, BUT IT HAS SMALL FLAWS THAT DO NOT EFFECT THE PLAY OF THE RECORD.
VERY GOOD + (VG+): RECORD HAS BEEN HANDLED AND PLAYED INFREQUENTLY OR VERY CAREFULLY, THIS COULD MEAN THAT THERE ARE LIGHT PAPER SCUFFS, OR SLIGHT SCRATCHES THAT WILL NOT EFFECT THE PLAY. LIGHT WARPS THAT DO NOT EFFECT THE SOUND ARE OK.
VERY GOOD (VG): THE RECORD COULD SHOW SIGNS OF HANDLING AND PLAYING, SUCH AS LOSS OF VINYL LUSTRE, LIGHT SURFACE SCRATCHES, GROOVE WEAR AND SPINDLE TRAILS FROM COUNTLESS SPINS ON THE TURNTABLE. THE RECORD MAY HAVE SOME AUDIBLE SURFACE NOISE WHEN PLAYED, ALTHOUGH ANY SUCH NOISE SHOULD NOT OVERWHELM THE MUSIC.
GOOD (G): GOOD SHOULD MEAN THE RECORD IS WELL-PLAYED WITH ANY NUMBER OF DEFECTS SUCH AS COMPLETE LOSS OF SURFACE SHEEN, AGGRAVATING SURFACE NOISE ETC. BUT CAN STILL BE PLAYED WITHOUT SKIPPING.
