Description
This is one of only 400 copies of this 1969 Rolling Stones LP EVER MADE!!!
Only 200 were produced for the US radio market and 200 for Europe promotion purposes.
It was produced to showcase the "B" sides and "lesser known" Rolling Stones tracks.
The jacket has the call letters of a US radio station on the lower left front corner and a verticle stain where a label had once been on the back of the jacket. The track Sympathy For The Devil is also circled in blue ink. It also looks like there was a sticker on the top front right corner. The inner sleeve was replaced with a plastic Rhino Records sleeve some time ago.
The disc has a few swirls and scuffs but over all, is very shiny and looks to be in very Good condition. I do not grade vinyl professionally but I would rate the disc an 8 on a scale of 1-10. The jacket is pretty rough around the edges from airplay, but it is in pretty good shape for a studio veteran. I would give the jacket a 6 on a scale of 1-10 due to the edges, stain and station call letters. These jackets where shoved in and out of the racks of vinyl but the discs were always handled with care. Jackets were for protection, not pampering back in 1969. I do have several of the correct inner sleeves you may choose from when you win this auction.
I do know that this disc was retired from the studio in the middle 1970s and has not been on a turntable since.
Do not let a part of Rolling Stones AND US radio history pass you by!!! Disc graded visually only and is sold as is.
