Description
Rolling Stones 1st Album rare early matrix press with short version of "Tell Me (you're coming back to me)"
Matrix numbers are 2A/2A. UK Decca original and one of the very early pressings. Version of "Tell me" is the very rare 2:52 "demo" version which was replaced with a 4 minute version as soon as the band realised the error. I have uploaded a video to YouTube so you can hear and see this copy playing, my YouTube user name is mylovelyrecords. Apparently Record Collector have implied that the short version is only on the 1A matrix but this is incorrect (and a quick Google of Stones collectors forums will confirm that 2A copies also had it, but are RARE!)
Vinyl is strong VG+ condition. Sounds fantastic.
Track mistitled Mona on label. Extremely clean vinyl with just a few light marks (and I accidentally added a fingerprint or two when taking the photos but these will wipe off easily). Some spindle wear on labels. The blob visible in the run out is a reflection, not damage.
Sleeve is discolored and scruffy - but generally intact - see pics. It has wrinkles, wear and some damage. Plain inner sleeve (not the usual red Decca inner). However you are buying this for the record, and it's really nice.
Important: non-UK buyers - this will ONLY be sent fully insured with full value stated. Therefore you may be liable for import taxes.
Overseas sent by global shipping only. UK sent special delivery fully insured only.
