HIP HOP HOLY GRAIL Live Convention 81 ORIGINAL LP
Various – Live Convention 81 Disco Wax Records – #2001 (1981)Nice ORIGINAL copy of this hip hop holy grail! This is not the 90s reprint but the guaranteed original early 80s release. And considering its rarity and value (catalogued at 500$ and up) this is a steal!!
Originally a tape recording put to vinyl back in 1981, this is hip hop's earliest live record and also a very rare glimpse into the original hip hop live performance before everything was moulded into radio friendly 4 minute songs with three verses and choruses. This here is non stop party groove. At the time this was a proper release but it has a bootleg feel and sound to it... recorded from tape.
Sleeve has some ink dirt and bottom seam split and small pen mark on back. Vinyl has several mild scuffs and mild scratches which will cause occasional very light noise, but given the quality of the recordings (tapes put to vinyl) you won't really notice as it plays fine. Get it now!

Purchases to Italy and France are only sent via Registered mail with tracking! Sorry but I have had too many problems with the postal services there. I will give you a tracking code so you can follow the package online.

In all my years selling via the web, I have never had a package lost and only once did an LP break but if you want to be 100% sure you may opt to have the record sent through registered mail at a little extra cost.
