Description

Up for sale is a first pressing of "Birth Speed Merging" by the Pyramids.

This is a unique copy that was previously owned by a member of Idris Ackamoor's family.

The Record is in VG+ conditon. Has a nice gloss on each side. There are a couple light, white scuffs on side A that seem to not affect the music. Listening through headphones, I noticed minimal crackles at the beginnings of side A and B. Nothing too bad; typical of older records that have been in storage for years.

There is minimal amounts of light crackle in between some quiet passages. I didn't observe any loud pops or skips. However, on side B, there are a few noticable crackles on two separate parts of "Black Man and Woman of the Nile", which I have included in the audio link below.

Overall, it plays very nice and sounds great. It seems to have been taken well care of for the past 43 years.

The Sleeve is in VG+ shape, with the exception of some damage at the opening of the sleeve. It still has the shrink wrap on it. The shrink wrap is a little scuffed up from storage. It is also torn a bit on the back cover, on the bottom left. No ring wear, just minor shelf wear and some slight discoloration behind some of the less intact shrink. Overall, it makes a great display piece.
