The Performers – ‘Love Is The Answer’ / ‘Just Dance’ – ABC-Paramount 10777 (US)

 

Absolutely gorgeous two-sider from a Philly group better known as The Majors, who recorded for Imperial 1962-1964. Their hits included ‘A Wonderful Dream’ and the Van McCoy-penned ‘She’s A Troublemaker’. This 1966 release, co-penned by lead singer Rick Cordo, was their last recording. Brilliant popcorn A-side, cool groove in the style of Dean & Jean on the flip.

Condition: Excellent; a little dust, that’s all (please listen to the clips). Clean labels (please see scans).

Shipping from Sweden is expensive – though the rest of the world is surely catching up – not least due to the fact that the weight increments are few and far apart, but it’s usually swift and safe.

American bidders, kindly note that shipping to the US is not US $4.00; this is eBay’s default setting and not applicable as I am based in Sweden. Please use the postage rates above, or wait for my invoice. Thank you!
