The Oldest Proffession
Matrix Nos. MR 006 A3 / S MR 006 B1
Quite rare Folk / Psych album. It has been suggested that only 200 were pressed. The album comes in the original front-laminated cover and in a poly-lined white paper inner, which will be retained with the record, which will be placed in a new MFSL anti-static inner. Overall, the album is in fantastic condition.
CONDITION - VISUAL - Examined under a strong halogen lamp, side one has just some very faint sleeve withdrawal marks that are only visible under the lamp, and side two just has the faintest marks - not scratches - that are best described as faint 'blemishes' in/on the the vinyl. Both sides have a really good gloss. Visually, a comfortable Excellent +
CONDITION - PLAY-GRADE - When played on a Project Debut III turntable both sides play with some light background crackle here and there. It pretty much disappears during the music and can be mostly heard between tracks. A Play-Grade of Very Good.
Both labels just have the faintest spindle trails.The cover has some light ringwear, some light creasing and some surface wear on the back. Otherwise, there are no tears or rips, no ink or pencil inscriptions, and the spine is sharp and well defined.

GRADING GUIDE - IMPORTANT!
I visually examine all records under a strong 35w halogen lamp, which shows up ALL defects.
I strictly grade my records according to the Rare Record Price Guide (RRPG), which, to me, means as follows:
MINT- Must be sealed
NEAR MINT - Totally unmarked, no scratches, not even faint 'hairlines' / sleeve withdrawal marks or any other signs of having been played.
EXCELLENT - No scratches, just signs of having been played, such as the odd faint 'hairline' sleeve withdrawal mark that is barely visible under a strong lamp, or spindle trails on the label.
VERY GOOD - The first mild scratches have begun to appear, but only very, very few.
GOOD - More scratches than Very Good and more severe, but I am confident that the record will play through without skips or sticking and will still provide a good listening experience.
FAIR - The record may not play through properly with a chance of it jumping and / or it will play with significant background noise.
POOR - It definitely won't play without skipping or sticking.
Below Near Mint I will use plus or minus with a grade to highlight fine differences.
COVER GRADES
My cover grades are EXACTLY as stated in Record Collector magazine / RRPG. Therefore, if a cover is defaced, stained or torn it CANNOT grade better than FAIR. Likewise, if any part of the contents are missing it CANNOT grade better than POOR.
