Description
This is a brand new, UNOPENED Sheffield Lab 3-LP Boxed Set of “The Moscow Sessions” performed by the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra. This has been heralded as a first-ever recording of a Russian Orchestra being conducted by an American (Lawrence Leighton Smith) for the Russian composed pieces, and a Russian (Dmitri Kitayenko) for the American composed pieces. Please see the pictures for the listing of works performed on these 3 albums. I purchased this 3-LP set new as a backup in case my original copies ever got damaged. My personal copies were purchased individually so when the 3-LP box set was released, I purchased it immediately. Since my originals still play beautifully, I'm putting this SEALED 3-LP Box Set up for sale. It has always been stored vertically with all my other SEALED audiophile albums.
Although this is NOT a direct-to-disk recording, the sound quality is truly amazing. It is produced from the Original Analog Two-Track tape, which was recorded on a Studer Tape Deck with custom designed electronics. Also, let me not forget to mention the performance – it is great!
