Description

This is an original Sheffield Lab 3-LP set, “The Moscow Sessions” with Lawrence Leighton Smith conducting the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, Sheffield Lab catalog number TLP-1000. This is one of the all-time classic audiophile recordings and it caused a sensation when it was first issued and was written up in all the audiophile magazines.

I don’t remember when I bought this but it would have had to have been around the late ’80s to early ’90s.

The set is in Near Mint condition for the box and the disc. There is an ever-so-slight mark, a line about 2 inches long on side one that is NOT a scratch – you really have to look hard to see it and it is not audible. I know I did not play all six sides and the records certainly look that way, but I’m calling them all Near Mint. The information booklet and original promo insert are also in Near Mint condition.

I have been collecting records and CDs for over 45 years and have decided to begin selling items from my collection as I no longer have the time to listen or the room to keep all my records and CDs. Keep your eyes open for many more records up for auction as time goes on. All of my records have been fanatically well kept over the decades in a smoke-free home
