Description

This is a 1st pressing original copy, not a repressing, on Mob Style Records (MSR-3), of the 7" 3 song ep "Step Forward", by the New York hardcore band The Mob, on red vinyl. It features 3 insanely fast, hard hitting hardcore punk songs; a great record from one of the legendary bands from the New York Hardcore scene in the early 1980's. A great find for the collector of rare punk rock/hardcore records.

Track Listing: Side A Step Forward  Side B Revolution, Unity Lives On.

The original, paper picture sleeve is in great shape (VG to VG+): some minor creasing, Some minor ring wear, one tiny, almost imperceptible, tear or cut on the upper right corner on the rear of the sleeve. Some barely perceptible yellowing. No splits or seam rips. All in all, in really great shape.

The clear red vinyl is in excellent shape: VG+ to NM: no scratches, dings, or scuffs, and no extraneous noise. Some very minor printing defects in the vinyl itself, that have absolutely no effect on the sound of the record. The labels are in great shape, very clean looking. The spindle hole is cut very tight when put on the turntable; be careful when removing it from the turntable spindle to avoid accidentally cracking the record. Played only a few times (including once recently to assess the sound quality), the vinyl still looks shiny and clean, and is a great copy for someone lucky enough to own it.

The insert is in great shape; some creasing, and rough around a couple of the edges, most likely from when they were separated after printing. I'm guessing mutiple copies of the insert were on each sheet when it was printed, and they look like they were, most likely, separated by hand.

Please, do not bid on this record if you have no feedback,or poor feedback, on Ebay.

If you are a winner of this auction, please pay, via PayPal, within 3 days of the end of the auction; once you have paid, I will ship your record within 3 business days, and most likely sooner than that.

I do have a $4.50 handling charge, to partially cover my costs for insurance and packaging materials (heavy duty box and 4 sheets of foamboard). The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges.

Once you receive your record, please let me know it has arrived, and enter your feedback on ebay as soon as possible, as PayPal will soon be starting a new policy, for all new sellers with fewer than 100 hundred sales, placing payments on hold in my PayPal account until delivery is confirmed and feedback is entered. I don't understand why they are doing this, as my feedback is excellent and at 100%, but it is what it is.

If you win this auction, and are a U.S. buyer, I will ship your record via USPS Priority Mail.

If you are an international buyer, please do not pay until I have sent you an invoice with the correct shipping charges for your location. Before I send an invoice, I will contact you to determine which USPS shipping method you want me to use: 1st Class Mail International, Priority Mail International, or Express Mail International. Express Mail has the best protection, both for you as a buyer and me as a seller, but I will ship based on what you want me to use. If you don't want me to declare the full value of the record for customs purposes, to avoid heavy customs duties and taxes, I will only cover the amount you wish me to declare in the event the record is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. If you choose 1st Class Mail, the package can not be insured, and ebay's buyer protection program will not apply. Please, enter feedback as soon as you have received and examined your record.

Happy bidding!!!
