This is a rare copy of the 1970 UK pressing released on Argos Records
of "The Heart Is A Lotus" LP by The Michael Garrick Sextet with Norma Winstone. Visually the record has a few light marks and a blemish but still has a shine to it.
As regards sound quality there are a couple of flaws. First on track 1 of the A Side of the disc at about the 2:20 second mark the record has a short bit of hiss and a couple of noticeable clicks and possibly a skip (difficult to tell exactly given the passage of music playing at this time). This lasts for approximately 10 seconds in all. Further in on Side A is what I would describe as a "blemish" that looks somewhat like a thumb print on the disc (see pictures). During play a tiny bit of hiss can be heard as the needle passes over this area during quieter bits of the music and a couple of the breaks between tracks. There are no problems on the B Side of the disc and other than the things already described the sound quality is pretty good. The record labels are in Excellent condition, clean on both sides. The Picture sleeve show some signs of aging with some minor creasing and a bit of discolouration on the back. The record will be shipped Tracked and/or Signed For and Insured.
