This 45 is M- has a couple of light superficial Mark's. Has all its original sheen and clean labels, comes in its original birth sleeve and plays as new. A very hard demo to find in this pristine condition. It was released on 25th October 1968.

They were a short lived late 60s Birmingham Beat/Pop Psych Groul whose two singles are now highly collectable.
After the sad and inexplicable failure of the wonderful "William Chalker's Time Machine" (their 1st single and one of the best singles released in 1968), the delightfully-named Lemon Tree had this second attempt with a more lightweight pop song. This one was slated by those few who did buy "William Chalker's Time Machine", but the band were obviously aiming for a different market this time. I have reason to believe the song's composer (A. King) is the same person who penned Status Quo's single-that-never-was, "Technicolour Dreams". Anyway, "It's So Nice To Come Home" was another flop , even the production by Anen Corners Andy Fairwether Low could not save them and the band presumably jacked it in after they were dropped by Parlaphone.
