Description
A couple of weeks ago I went to a remote NSW town and came across a guy who'd been buying prog/folk/psych/blues/R&B LP's for about 40 years. Relentlessly scouring the area. And he'd never sold anything. Except - on that day, he decided to. And he did. And it was thee best collection I'd seen for years. Let's not pretend everything was mint - it's not - but there's some gems in there.
This below is from that collection (which snuck in a few other genres too).
=====================================================================
ARTIST: The LA DE DA'S
TITLE: "ROCK AND ROLL SANDWICH"
FORMAT: …vinyl LP…
LABEL: EMI
CATALOGUE #: EMC-2504
DATE OF RELEASE: 1973
PRESSED IN: AUSTRALIA
ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING?: Yes, it is...in gatefold cover...
Kevin Borich, Ronnie Peel and Keith Barber...one of thee best Aussie 3-piece groups...ever. Borich's guitar playing on this is pure electric dynamite.
CONDITION - COVER: ( VG+ )...has advanced ringwear (on the back especially), and a small name written in the top right corner...
CONDITION - RECORD: ( VG[+] )...
CONDITION - LABELS: (Side One: EX / Side Two: MINT )...that same name is written on the Side One label...
PACKAGING AND MAILING: Absolutely ALL care will be taken when packaging this - record and sleeve will be separated to avoid any damage in transit, and both will be packed in a sealed outer light plastic sleeve between layers of strong very flat and thick card - I've been doing this for a while and have attained a good safe packing standard.
If you have any concerns about the accuracy of my gradings, please check my feedback for the odd nice comment from some satisfied folk out there.... (and hopefully you may be able to join their ranks).
