THE KINKS
'DEBUT' Vinyl ALBUM
Pye Records 1964 NPL 18096 Monaural
Record Condition - VG for the year, no scratches on either side, a few clicks/pops and some surface crackle, no more than you would expect for an album of this age. It has got some hairline scratches on each surface, no major 'digs' or 'scuffs' and none that cause any major problems at all. I have cleaned the album and playback has become very good, it was filthy with years of grime and I reckon a further 'deep' clean could possibly even improve it further still but the crackle etc, only adds to the vinyl listening pleasure anyway especially as it is in Mono, so what is the point if you did anyway, it is perfectly acceptable as it is.
Record Sleeve - G condition, for the year, it has some edge/corner wear, a few creases here and there the largest being on the l/h bottom of sleeve (see picture) but the laminated cover on the whole is still nice. The rear of the sleeve does have quite a prominent stain in the left had bottom corner (see picture) and some general dirty marks dotted about, but on the whole, perfectly acceptable for an album of this age.

If there is ever a fault of any kind with the vinyl, scratches/jumps,, clicks/pops or major crackle, warping or damage of any kind, I will ALWAYS state it. I willALWAYS play the record through first before it goes for auction, if it plays Ok on my system, then that is fine by me, the opinions are purely my own NOT of any Record Grading book of any kind. I will always grade my records as VG+ although most are worthy of a higher rating I will NEVER grade them as MINT, simply because they are NOT, they are USED, they have been played by me, and so I cannot classify them as being MINT.
The same goes for the Sleeves; again you will ALWAYS get an accurate, any tears/seam splits, writing/scribble, generally marks of any kind, fear not, you will always get an honest description from me! You are welcome to check my feedback to see buyers are always pleased with my records and that I pack very well and always post in good time. You will NEVER get any nasty surprises from me!
