JIMI HENDRIX:
Electric Ladyland, UK Track 613008/9 1968 1st Pressing Stereo LP
Really quite rare. First Pressing with the legendary rare blue text inside the cover with the large pictures inside.
The Labels have the inverted cat numbers, which I believe are only on the first pressings. Spindle marks are very few !The matrix numbers: Side A;D;B;C (The x's mean that the original stamped matrix is scratched out by hand; all 1st pressings have this apparently ): 613 00 x x 8 (8 by hand)
A // 1; 613 00 x 8 (8 by hand) B//1; 613 00 x 9 A (9 A by hand) // 1; 613 009 B (all by hand) xxxxxxxxx //1.The records appear to have only been played a few times.
There are a few barely visible hairlines and that's about it!
Sound is superb, very few pops and clicks....
Very close to NEW condition vinyl. Not bad for a 44 year old record!!!
The once controversial cover is in very good condition. Some wear on the internal spine. There are a few laminate creases one on front and one on the back, but hasn't lost its shine!
In all fairness, this is one of the the best you are likely to see, plus the fact these copy's are becoming so rare.
