Thanks for looking at this listing. For the purposes of my sales descriptions, and to avoid negative feedback, consider all discs to be very good+/-. Some will play/sound better than this. None will be mint.
If it's trashed I will say so!
Discs will be free from significant warps, and will sit flat on the turntable unless stated.. Labels will be free from graffiti/stickers/sticker residue unless stated.
Records have been play tested and will be free from jumps/sticks unless otherwise stated. Records have been cleaned whilst playing with a brush arm, but will usually benefit from further cleaning.
Up for grabs today is a Demonstration disc of The Hollies, Stop Stop Stop. I can only find one other copy of this sold in recent years on the internet. Thus, I'm assuming it to be quite rare.
The disc is is a Parlophone UK Demo disc on the white Promo label.

Some sticker residue is evident at 9 O'clock on the A side and the nae Beresford has also been written on it. The B side has Fredo written in, what appears to be, pencil. I have not tried to erase this.

The disc has obviously been played quite a bit (A side obviously more than the B). However, it still produces a respectable sound and retains some of its original sheen. There are many marks, but plays without intrusive clicks or crackle. That is not to say that there is a totally clean sound, some crackle is noticeable on run-in/off, and a few light noises during the songs. Listening casually(without headphones) on a Creek/Rega/Lynn set-up, the sound was pleasant enough. If this was a Beatles demo, I would be ecstatic to have it in my collection, despite being way from mint.
For a Hollies collector, this provides a respectable copy of this great record. I note that some Hollies demos are selling in the £90-£130 range, and thus(because of condition) I am listing for £60 BIN. I will offer free, UK mainland only, signed 1st class postage.
