I'm selling my personal collection of rare 60s and 70s modern British jazz over the next few weeks. This really was a golden age for British jazz and these are LPs I bought in the 70s and have had ever since. This auction is for The Heart is a Lotus but please see below for the others.

A great album by a very original British jazzman and featuring Garrick's established sextet plus the incredible voice of Norma Winstone.

Side 1 - The Heart is a Lotus, Song by the Sea, Torrent, Temple Dancer.
Side 2 - Blues on Blues, Voices, Beautiful Thing, Rustat's Grave Song

Art Themen, flute, clarinet, soprano and tenor sax.
Jim Philip, flute clarinet, tenor sax.
Don Rendell, flute, soprano and tenor sax.
Ian Carr, trumpet, flugelhorn.
Dave Green, bass.
Coleridge Goode, bass.

Michael Garrick, piano, harpsicord.

Vinyl condition, light paper scuffs only, light suface noise only, labels clean with very light spindle marks. Sleeve without any major damage. No splits. some ringwear, light creasing to the lamination in a couple of places. I would say excellent minus for both cover and vinyl.
I believe I have graded this accurately.
