Description
Mega Rare Disc.....This record has never been played,it is on the Rocket Record Company Label and was issued in 1977.It is 33 and a third r.p.m and is very special indeed....I have done a bit of research on this and have been told by Record Collector magazine that this record was issued by mail order of only 500 copies and that version is valued at £300.00....However the version i have got was presented to only 40 people who were invoved with Elton John`s Charity that was set up called "The Goaldiggers" back in the 70`s.This was presented at a special dinner held at the Dorchester Hotel in London on 30th May 1977.The menu consisted of bangers and mash and grilled tomatoes.With this record comes the original menu and an A4 sheet with the official "Goaldiggers" emblem in the top right hand corner and the words "With thanks and appreciation from the Goaldiggers".This sheet has then been personally signed by the 4 who made the record,Elton John,Brian Moore,Jimmy Cliff and Eric Morecombe.Also signed by other celebrities and sportsmen and women who were involved in the evening.The ones i have been able to decipher are Tessa Wyatt,Alan Pascoe,David Wilkie,Alan Weeks,Alan Hart and 4 others that i am unable to decipher.I will do a bit more research and if i can find out any more i will add the information to the listing.All of the items are in excellent condition apart from the record sleeve has a few small marks and creases.Obviously this would look magnificent all framed up.I am starting this auction at the price the bog standard copy of this record is worth with no reserve so a fabulous opportunity of a real bargain for someone.Starting price of £300.00 with no reserve....Postage within the UK is £5.00 by special delivery and outside UK to be determined at end of auction....Payment within UK by cheque,postal order or Paypal (no charge for Paypal)....Outside UK by Paypal only....Bid with total confidence by checking out my fabulous feedback from over 1600 successful transactions.Please leave feedback if happy with transaction and i will then leave feedback,if unhappy for any reason please contact me and let me know the problem...Good Luck Brushsport
