Description
For your consideration is a strong original copy of the Fallen Angels 1968 USA original pressing of "It's A Long Way Down" in stereo.
This is one of the true Holy Grails of psychedelic rock and after play testing it, I completely understand.
The vinyl is excellent! A strong VG+. Visually it has some light lines and scuffs on the vinyl itself and the A-side label looks like there may have been a sticker on it at one time. When I played it, I heard light, occasional ticks. The worst I heard was a tick in the wax between "Didn't I" and "It's A Long Way Down". There is a minimum of background noise and it is truly enjoyable throughout. I am being hyper critical about the ticks. I doubt I would have even noticed if the record were not so rare.
The cover is VG or better with light ring wear, a spot of (fold over) spine damage and wear to the edges and corners. The original glue stopped adhering to the inside many years ago but I left it as-is because a true collector may not want to re-glue it. I will leave that up to the buyer. There are no names or writing anywhere on this record.
Overall this is a very strong copy of an exceptionally rare record.
