Please note that i do tend to use in and around the " Very Good / Near excellent Condition " grade for a lot of my records , although none are heavily scratched etc and most will just have some general light surface marks only . I never use a " Mint " or " Near Mint " grade . Everyone obviously has their own opinions as to what is very good and excellent , but in my case , i tend to think that most , if not all records do have marks to some degree ( lots even from new ! ) purely because they are vinyl and mark easy and have been used over a considerable amount of time in most cases . This is also why i do often go into more detail than most with my descriptions , as the term " Very Good " can be a bit vague . I do use the " Excellent Condition " grade , but in my case , i would class this as not played very much , excellent shine and just a handful of the very lightest whispy type hairlines only , most only being visible under a light , so you know that when i use excellent , i really do mean excellent and i do pride myself on this fact , i will say i can go a little OTT with noise and general condition and can often make a record sound bad when it really isn't , i do just try my best to say how it is , please don't forget though , that all records will obviously vary in sound quality etc on other set ups depending on the quality being used etc , but please do check out all of my feedback and you will see you can bid with confidence , thank you .

Please note, all records are packed in proper pro card mailers with a minimum of 3 stiffeners for LP’s and 2 for 7" singles ( more if i think they are needed ) . CD’s , Cassettes and DVD’s are sent in strong bubble wrap envelopes. These are also taped with brown parcel tape along all edges and seams for added protection.

The Fall Reformation Post TLC MEGA RARE 2 LP 2007 TEST PRESS 4 ONLY ?? SEE DETAILS Pro Cleaned . On Slogan Records / Sanctuary Records Group Ltd off white blank paper labels SLODV007 , the matrix numbers are SLODV 007 A-2/B-2/C-2 and D-2 . A very rare find here ! , according to The Fall's online website , only 4 test pressings of this double LP exist ! , but obviously i can't confirm this . This test pressing has the same track ordering and timings as the CD release , but these timings and track ordering were later changed for the final released version of this album on vinyl , this was stated when i got this from one of the top music auction houses . I must admit i'm not an avid fan of the fall and certainly not up on the more modern stuff  , i'm not totally sure the track timings and track order bit as i looked at the CD tracks and they don't seem to tally up with this statement is correct , on checking i found that track D1 is actually Fall Sound - Alternative version , this actually isn't on the released vinyl album as far as i can see . I have only just found this out now as i'm listing it , so i will listen to it and try and make out each track and come back to the listing , you will have to bear with me , as i said , i don't know any of these tracks but i'll do my best to get the titles right , sorry for being a pain but i want to try and get this right . So i have just listened to parts of each track , the first three sides appear to all be correct , i'm just struggling with the last side ( D2 ) , T1 definitely appears to be Fall Sound - Alternative Version at the start ( according to Discogs site ) , but it also mentions Das Boat quite a bit later on ?? , there is a wooden sticks tapping together sound on the track most of the way through if this helps  , i have put the start of this on the video , please read record description for why i have done this , then there is a very short track that just goes with a hum noise one after the other etc etc with no music or vocals , T3 is mainly people talking on a walkie talkie or telephone and i think it is a version of " Song 2/3 with tape of manager " ( i got this title from Discogs site ) , then finally the last track appears to be Systematic Abuse , i'm not sure if this maybe a bit of a mash up of different tracks , but i really am not sure , sorry i can't be more help . I have also just noticed that the first three sides appear to have factory stamped matrix numbers , but oddly the last side ( D2 ) for some reason appears to have hand etched matrix numbers , i don't know if this has a bearing on these odd tracks on this side ? , it also didn't help that the silent track changeover lines were not that clearly defined . I am assuming the tracks on the first three sides are the correct versions , but obviously i can't confirm this . Please do just send me a message if you have any questions .

COVER: There is no picture album cover with this one , each record is housed in a plain white thick card cover with plain white paper inner sleeves , the card outer covers appear to be pretty much new condition , but there is writing in black felt pen stating the title and catalogue number with some crossing out , this is written on one side of each cover .

INNER SLEEVES: Plain white paper inner sleeves are near excellent showing just a bit of general but light only wear in places , there are the usual but very light ring wear marks , there is the band name , album title and catalogue number written in black felt pen on one side of the one inner sleeve .

LABELS: Off white plain blank paper labels generally in near excellent condition , still very nice and clean with just two or three small printing crack lines on the paper in places which are showing black and one very very faint very thin near hairline paper crease / dent line , really barely noticeable , there are just a very very very few usual but very light spindle marks .

RECORDS: The overall visual grade of the playing surfaces under normal average household light conditions is near excellent condition , some may say slightly better overall , although i will say there are a lot of pops and ticks , most are quite light but with the odd ( four or five ) louder ones on the intro and quite a bit of the first part of the last side ( D2 ) , but most i am at a loss as to why as i couldn't see anything really obvious that would have caused these , all i could see was a couple of small what look like manufacturers blemishes which i wouldn't have thought would have caused these , i couldn't see anything feelable or any nasty scratches , also most are close together and not per revolution , but please do see below for full audio descriptions , i have also done a quick video which i think you can hear what i mean , but these do go on longer than the video shows , there are just a few very light and mostly extremely small and mostly very very light ( some just very tiny near pin head size spot marks ) surface marks , some do appear to be within the vinyl itself and just a very few extremely fine mainly whispy type hairlines and sleeve removals ( the odd one or two very very slightly more visible but still very very light and fine only ) , there is also one very small cluster of near pin head size spot marks , there are no nasty gouges / nasty large scratches whatsoever , i will also say that a lot of these finer hairlines and actually some of the are really only more visible when held at certain angles to or under a light . Please note that there maybe the odd tiny dust particle or tiny bit of fluff etc seen on the record in places in the photos off my wiping cloth due to static etc , i can't see them on the record at the time but they sometimes do show up when I take the close up photos , this is also because i do take the photos before i vacuum clean the record , thank you for your understanding . AUDIO A SIDE: Silent run in has some usual but generally light noise . It plays mostly excellent , beautifully crisp and clear throughout on the music playback with really not a great deal in the way of obvious noise that was worthy of mention , well actual noise really was next to nothing obvious , i just heard some mostly very light pops / ticks , these were one tick just after the run in on T1 , and i think there were five or six mostly very light pops / ticks just after the start also on T1 , one very very light pop approx three quarters of the way through on T2 and that's about it on this side , the silent track changeover lines were overall nice and quiet , there was no nasty crackle present , there may just have been the odd very light isolated pop that i may have missed . Silent run off has some usual but generally very light noise . This side on the music really does play and sound fantastic overall and the audio tones are still awesome .

AUDIO B SIDE: Silent run in has some usual but generally light noise . It  also plays mostly excellent , beautifully crisp and clear throughout on the music playback with really next to nothing in the way of obvious noise that was worthy of mention , just the odd mostly very light pop , tick , these being , a couple of very very very light pops on the start of T1 and one pop just after these and just one very very light pop / tick on the intro of T3 , again , the silent track changeover lines were overall nice and quiet , there was no nasty crackle and bar the mentioned light ones , there were no nasty loud ticks , again there may just have been the odd very light isolated pop that i may have missed . Silent run off has some usual but generally very light noise . This side on the music really does play and sound fantastic overall and the audio tones are still awesome .

** I must add that none of this mostly light pops / ticks were deafening oe excessively loud in any way ** .

AUDIO SIDE C: Silent run in has some usual but generally very light noise . It plays excellent , beautifully crisp and clear throughout on the music playback with really next to nothing in the way of obvious noise that was worthy of mention , all i heard was a couple of very faint pops , i think just towards the end of T3 , the silent track changeover lines were overall nice and quiet , there was no nasty crackle and no nasty ticks , again there may just have been the odd very light isolated pop that i may have missed . Silent run off has some usual but generally very light noise with the odd light tick . This side on the music really does play and sound fantastic overall and the audio tones are still awesome .

AUDIO SIDE D: Silent run in has some usual but generally light noise . It also plays mostly close to excellent , beautifully crisp and clear throughout on the music playback ( with the exception of the intro and first part of T1 ) , with really very little in the way of obvious noise that was worthy of mention , the exception is that there were a lot of pops / ticks on quite a bit of the intro and first part of T1 , most were just quite light and some very light but there were i think approx four or five louder ones , there was a bit of light static type noise also at the end , there was a bit of very light static crackle and a few light pops / ticks on the intro and start of the next track ( the quiet humming one as previously mentioned ) and there was just one very very light pop i think just before half way on T4 , the silent track changeover lines were overall nice and quiet , they are quicker changeovers on this side overall , there was no nasty continuous crackle present , again there may just have been the odd very light isolated pop that i may have missed . Silent run off has some usual but generally very light noise . Bar that first part of T1 , this side on the rest of the music really does play and sound great overall and the audio tones are still awesome .

** I do hope i have got this last side tracks right , but my apologies if i haven't , but either way , this one is still a very rare find ! , yes there is the pops / ticks issue with the first part of that first track on the last side , but bar that , still a great overall sounding set ** .

There were no jumps etc when tested on my deck and they still retain a very nice shine . Any noises tend to be in short bursts only , are over quickly , are not constant and do not spoil any enjoyment . If any noises are more frequent or louder etc , they will be described separately in the above detailed descriptions thank you .

All in all still a nice overall example of this now very rare and collectable item . Mainly due to those pops / ticks on the first track on the last side , i have started this one off at what i think is a sensible start price for such a rarity , the extra shown is what Ebay add on for their fees . Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times , but displays no major deterioration in sound quality , despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch , some forms of noise will more than likely be heard in places especially on the quieter parts and the odd tick or pop may also be heard in places especially on the quieter parts , but none of this will overpower any of the music in any way , light edge warps etc and some light " dishing " are acceptable but will not affect the play or sound quality at all , any warps that are more prominent will be described in more detail . Very Good / Near Excellent: The record has obviously been played but shows no overly excessive play wear . There will be some light only surface marks though most will be just fine hairlines , there will be no major deterioration in sound quality at all though some amount of light noise / occasional light pop may be present in places especially on some of the quieter parts , but none of this will be loud or constant or overpower any of the music , the record will play through perfectly , light edge warps etc and some light " dishing " are acceptable but will not affect the play or sound quality at all , any warps that are more prominent will be described in more detail .
