Description
On offer here is a first pressing of The Fall's 1979 second LP Dragnet, Step Forward SFLP4. This comes from a small collection of punk/new wave records I have bought from the estate of someone who 'was there' in 1977 onwards (I was a little too young) and while I'm keeping most, one or two aren't my cup of tea so I'm selling them on. In my case the nearest I got to The Fall back in the day was buying the Rowche Rumble and Fiery Jack singles.
Stamped between the run-out grooves are [Side 1] SFLP 4 A2 and LYN7552, [Side 2] SFLP4 B2 and LYN7553.
Sleeve condition a good solid VG, with a little edge wear all round and a minute amount of ring wear to the front.
The disc is also VG based on visual inspection. There are quite a few fine hairlines in places and I suspect it would benefit from a clean. That said I have played it in parts and it plays VG as well. There is the ghost of a sticker on the side 2 label (pictured) which no longer has any 'stick' to it. The inner sleeve is comparatively new as the original was in a very poor state. No insert, sadly.
