Fontana/Phonogram Ltd. (1992 pressing) Nicely collectable !
Vinyl visually inspected under strong light shows no serious problems at all. Vinyl is very clean and very shiny. No scratches. There are several light surface marks on both sides of the record, but these can only be seen when held up to strong light. This LP has obviously been played a few times over the years, but it's been well looked after and should play with no issues. There is what looks like a light scuff type mark running in a half circle on track 3, side 2 (the track So Called Dangerous) that can only be seen when held up to strong light. Just to be sure this didn't affect playback, I had it tested....and it plays absolutely fine. Might even be part of the vinyl cut itself ? Anyway, nothing to worry about....it sounds great.
Outer sleeve in very good condition. Some wear is visible, but nothing serious in my opinion. Edge wear along top and bottom edges in a few spots, and some corner wear too on all 4 corners. Spine area is very good, with only a couple of light creases. There is a bit of "rubbing" noticeable on the front cover, which I've tried to highlight in the various pics above. Again, nothing serious, in my opinion. Back cover looks great, to be honest. No problems at all there. I'm being really fussy here, and for a 23 year old LP, this sleeve looks just fine. But, I thought I'd point out the areas that some people might be just as fussy as I am about.
Inner printed black and white sleeve looks great. Other than one side which has been slightly "bumped" over the years, where the vinyl moves around in the inner sleeve and causes a bit of a tear, this sleeve is in excellent shape. There is a very small tape repair on the side of the sleeve where it has been slightly damaged (again, see pic)
To sum up.....nice copy of this great 1992 Fall LP. Lovely condition vinyl, very clean with no scratches and only light surface marks from playback, very good condition sleeve with a few areas of wear, but nothing serious. Great condition printed inner sleeve with just a small tape repair on one side.
Highly collectable slab of Fall goodness !
